2nd MaritimeONE HR Management Forum

 

The second MaritimeONE HR Management Forum was held on 19 July 2010. About 60 senior management and heads of HR from over 40 maritime companies attended the event at the Marina Mandarin Hotel.

 

The day’s programme comprised talks on manpower trends as well as leadership development in GE, along with sectoral breakout group discussions on manpower issues for ship owners and operators, ship brokers, ship financiers and marine insurers.

 

The breakout group facilitators were Prof Annie Koh, Dean (Office of Executive & Professional Education), Singapore Management University (SMU); Mr David Chin, Executive Director, Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF); Prof Nilanjan Sen, Associate Dean (Nanyang Executive Education), Nanyang Technological University (NTU); and Mr Mark Lim, Executive Director of the General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIA).

 

The MaritimeONE HR Management Forum is organised under MaritimeONE – an initiative by the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA).
